Furman Pictures, LLC moves to post production on a short film shot in Camas this April.

Producer Nikia Furman says the one to two minute film is about a mystery.

The production is the second in a series of short films that developed out of a challenge Furman undertook with another local producer, Joseph Long of Very Long Media.

The challenge is for each company to independently create one short film a month.

"This is a way to try new things," says Furman, "to experiment with creative story telling and production techniques outside of the confines of a client based project."

Furman and Long choose a new challenge for each month. In March, the challenge was to produce a documentary about a collector. Their challenge for April is to create a stylized mystery.

The resulting short films created by Furman Pictures will be available for viewing in the near future at furmanpictures.com.
